Emberek - People

Itt Balin valamiben nagyon hasonlítanak az emberek, mindenki nagyon kedves, udvarias és még ha csak kicsit is, de beszél angolul. Amed szegény része az országnak, az útikönyvünk azzal magyarázza, hogy kevesebb az eső, így a termés is kevesebb, a mezőgazdaságból élőknek így ez kevesebb bevételt jelent.
A gyerekek reggel 6-ra mennek iskolába, ahonnan 11-kor már haza is jönnek, mert meleg van különben. Itt a szállásunknál a nagyobbacskák már segítenek a szobák takarításában, mosogatnak, ugyanakkor néha önfeledten hancúroznak. Talán kevesebb a játékuk, inkább a bicikli a csúcs. Vasárnap és hétfőn nincs iskola, akkor pihennek.
Az élet nyugalmasan telik, bár nekem nagyon meglepő az internet mennyire jelen van mindenki életében, itt is ugyanúgy nyomkodják kicsik és nagyok a telefonjaikat.
A mindennapok része az "ünnepségek". Ezt én talán felvonulásnak, parádénak hívnám, de ami biztos, hogy elég gyakran történik. Akik részt vesznek benne, a legszebb ruhájukban vannak. Mindenki nagyon csinos. Az aranyozott fejdíszek néhány hölgy fején kifejezetten különleges.
Nagy becsben tartják a halottaikat is, aranyozott hajón bocsájtották utolsó útjára a tengeren...

Here in Bali people are very common in the followings: they are very kind, polite and speak even a little English. Amed is poor part of the country, based on our guide book this is explained by the drier weather. Less rain, less products. And as the people are living mainly from the nature this less rain cause less income.
The kids are in the school from 6 to 11, because it would be too hot to stay longer. At our homestay the bigger kids are helping in the cleaning of the rooms, doing the washing up but also live their normal kids life as well. Perhaps there are less toys, rather they love biking. Sundays and Mondays there is no school, these are the resting days.
Life is more relaxed here, but I am always surprised that how much the internet appears in the everyday life, young and adult pressing their phones all they long as it is in Europe.
"Ceremonies" are part of the everyday life. I would call them rather parade, but for sure it is happening very often. Those who are involved they are wearing their most beautiful dress. Everybody is really beautiful and smart. The golden head ornaments on some of the ladies head are very special.
They keep their passed away loved ones also very appreciated, on a golden boat send it to its last journey on the sea...
