Menekülés Sanurba - Escape to Sanur
I know it sounds a bit dramatic but that is how I felt our trip to Sanur. Our taxi was coming to pick us up at 6pm, it was already getting dark. The last days stress was just coming out, will we able to drive through the closed areas without any problems, will the volcano erupt, can Phill finish his course in time? These kind of questions were in my mind. Then of course everything went fine, although the roads in Bali are very windy, hilly, we were accelerating then braking all the time. I got out from the car a bit seasick, but finally we had our most comfortable night in Bali.
Sanur's nickname is Snore, which may refer to the fact that it is a sleepy little town, but if somebody would spend weeks in Amed, they would not call it sleepy. I was so amazed that I see people on the streets, lots of shops, McDo, traffic, tourists!
It is not my town... We were thinking about differently on our staying in our village after all, I missed the coziness, the people kindness and the feeling that we belong to here.
The last days were about Phill's exam, which he passed with flying colours!! I am so proud of him, it gives me almost the same feeling as I did the whole exam!
We are ready to go home! Home to Europe, to Scotland, to England, to Hungary. Our home is the whole world if we are together.
