1. Minden az utcán történik, apró műanyag székeken ülnek a helyiek és élik a mindennapokat, esznek, kávéznak, mobiloznak, beszélgetnek.
2. Jobb oldali a közlekedés! De jobbról előznek!
3. A robogó kiváló közlekedési eszköz öt főig, de ugyanakkor remek karosszéknek vagy délutáni sziesztához ágynak is.
4. Magasak vagyunk! A helyikehez képest nagyon! Ruhát csak csináltatni lehet ebben a méretben!
5. Vasárnap hajnali 4.20 a legjobb időpont a járda feltörésére, mert épp csend van olyankor!
6. Milliomosok vagyunk!! Megint egy új valuta, a dong, aminek az értékét meg kell tanulnunk! 100.000 dong= 1000Ft, változó mennyit ér. 5 sör a boltban, egy utazás a taxival a reptérről a városba, három-négy főétel kisétteremben, egy divatos étteremben két főre a hatszorosát is fizetheteted.

11. Vannak nagyon érzelemmel telített pillanatok... a háborús múzeumban magyar plakátot látni, 103 éves néni portréjának a szemében az életörömet sugározni, az unokafivérek hasonló gesztusait észrevenni, otthon érezni magunkat családi körben pár különleges pillanatig.
1. Everything is happening on the street. The locals are sitting on small plastic chairs and living their everyday life. Eating, drinking coffee, being on their mobile, chatting around.
2. They are driving on the right side! But taking over from the right as well!
3. The scooters are perfect vehicles up to five persons, but you can use it as an armchair or also great for your siesta.
4. We are tall. Compare to the locals. In this size you can't buy clothes everything has to be tailor made.
5. Sunday morning, 4.20am is the best time to break the pavement, because otherwise there would be silence.
6. We are millionaires again! Here we have a new currency the Vietnamese Dong, which value we have to learn. 100.000 dong= 3£, it can worth a lot or not too much as well. You can buy 5 can of beer in the shop, a taxi ride from the airport to the city, 3-4 main dishes in small local restaurants, in a more fancy restaurant you can easily pay six times more for two person.
7. The fire exit is a roll down ladder in one of the roof BBQ restaurant.
8. All the kerbs are ramped... to be accessible for the scooters to move on. The pedestrians will go wherever they can, no worries they are the minority.
9. We heard the 50% of the whole population of Vietnam is under 31 years old. The reason is during the war (1955-1975) whole generations were disappeared...
10. There are lots of Physicist's name on the Central Post Office's building.
11. There were many very emotional moments... see a Hungarian poster in the War Remanence Museum, see in the eyes of a 103 old lady the joy of life in a gallery, recognise the same gestures of the cousins, feeling ourselves at home in a family for a few precious moments.
