Irány dél - Heading to the South
Újra elindultunk egy hosszabb útra, hogy áttegyük a székhelyünket Richmondba. Tazmánia nagyon békés hely. Itt az út mentén arra hívja fel a figyelmedet a tábla, hogy vigyázz wallaby, pingvin vagy épp tazmán ördög jöhet keresztül. Nagyon sokan lakóautóval mennek körbe a szigeten, ez egy másik életforma.
A part mellett gyönyörű öblök vannak, Swansea-nál tettünk egy rövid sétát a partmenti ösvényen.
A napunk fő programja viszont a tánc volt Oatlands-ben. Nagyon jó volt újratalálkozni a csoport egy részével, mintha mi is állandó tagok lennénk, úgy éreztük! Phill megint zenélt Iain-nel, én meg szokás szerint bolondoztam! Volt három párosos tandem jobbkéz-balkéz, a helyi szélmalomra utaló pörgős-forgós tánc. Táncoltam egy 12 éves kislánnyal, mintha csak otthon Julkával bohóckodtunk volna! De a sok vidámság picit meg is nehezíti az elbúcsúzást, hiszen ki tudja táncolunk-e még valaha...
Fura látni, hogy minden csoport küzd az utánpótlással, de azt hiszem, csak nyitottnak, befogadónak kell maradni, küldeni egy mosolyt, kedélyesen beszélgetni és a legbolondabb ötletet sem elvetni, akkor jönni fog, akinek jönnie kell!
We started a longer journey to the South to settle down in Richmond. Tasmania is a very relaxing place. The signs next to the roads aware you that wallabies, penguins or Tasmanian devil can cross at any time. There are plenty of camper vans running on the roads, which is a completely different lifestyle.
Next to the shore there are many lovely bays. We did a little walk on the coastal track at Swansea.
But our main program for the day was the dancing in Oatlands. It was great to reunion with the group. We felt as if we were fixed members as well. Phill did the playing with Iain and I was silly as usual. There was a three couples tandem rights and lefts and a dance referring to the local windmill, with lots of turnings. I was dancing with a lovely 12 years old girl, it was such as fun as dancing with Julia in Budapest. But having that much fun always makes the farewell a bit harder, who knows if we dance again together with this group...
It is strange to see that all the groups are struggling with finding future dancers. But I think, if we stay open and welcoming, send a smile, chat freely and not letting to loose even the craziest ideas, then the people will come for sure!
