Songlines: Álomút - Dreaming Tracks
Gyere, mondok Neked egy történetet! A Hét Nővér meséjét. A hét nővér útnak indult, nyugatról keletre mentek. Keresték a vizet szűk résekben, gyógyították magukat a bozót bűvös leveleivel. Ismerték az utat a sivatagon keresztül. De nyomukban járt a varázsló Wati Nyiru. Hol széllé változott és belekapott a hajukba. Kígyóként félelmet keltett. Viszont emberként csak a társaságukat kereste és vágyott a szerelemre. A hét nővér hol kikacagta, hol jajveszékelve keresett menedéket barlangokban, a bozótban, majd mikor már nem volt más menedék felszálltak és a csillagos égen rejtőztek el. Ma is ott látod őket a Fiastyúk csillagképben, a varázsló meg az Orion alakjában próbálja utolérni őket.

Kiállításra mentünk Canberraban, az Álomútra.
Ez egy nagyon megfoghatatlan téma nekem... Az álmodás az ausztrál őslakos lét minden elemét áthatja. Álomidő téren és időn túl létező hely, ahol a múlt, jelen és jövő egyetlen egészben egyesül. A törzs tagjai ebbe a másik univerzumba álmaikon keresztül vagy módosult tudatállapotukban, illetve halálukkor lépnek be, hiszen az Álomidő egyúttal a végső tartózkodási hely a lélekvándorlás előtt (https://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Álomidő).
Ez a történet az idők során terjedt törzsről törzsre, formálódott, ahogy a különböző generációk továbbadták egymásnak. A képi ábrázolása nem csak a teremtés mítosz megfestése, hanem egyben egy térkép is, ami megjelenik a barlangok falán, hogyan találd meg az utad a bozótban és egyben az életben.

Come with me, I am telling you a story. The tale of the Seven Sisters. The Seven Sisters started their journey, they went from the West to the East. They looked for the waterholes, made medicine from the magical plants' leaves. They knew their way through the desert. But the sorcerer Wati Nyiru followed them wherever they go. Sometimes he transformed and he was the wind which ruffled their hair, as a snake he made them frightened. As a man he just wanted to be with them and desired love. The Seven Sisters once just laughed on him, other time they screamed away from him. They were hiding in caves, in the bush and once there was no other place to go they flew away and looked for a place on the sky. You can see them still in the Pleiades, but he is following them in the constellation of the Orion.

We went to an exhibition in Canberra, to the Songlines.
It is such a hard topic for me to explain... Dreaming is effecting the Aboriginal people's life in every aspects.
Their labyrinths of invisible pathways across the continent are known to us as Songlines or Dreaming Tracks, but to the Aboriginals as the tracks of their ancestors—the Way of the Law. Along these "roads" they travel in order to perform all those activities that are distinctively human—song, dance, marriage, exchange of ideas, and arrangements of territorial boundaries by agreement rather than force. This story travelled across the continent from one tribe to the other passed through generations. It was forming as it was given further. The painted version of this story it is not only a saga but also a map as it appears on the walls of the caves. It tells you how you can find your way through the bush and also through life.
