Úton - On the way
Lassan két hete vagyunk úton a Déli szigeten. Ez a világ 12. legnagyobb szigete, 840 km hosszú. Új-Zéland teljes területe valamennyivel kisebb a brit szigetek együttes területénél, de itt mindössze 4.5 millióan élnek, nem 65 millióan. A népsűrűség itt délen 7.4/km², északon 17.9. Az energiatermelés 98%-át vízierőművek szolgáltatják, elképesztő.
Hegyek vannak mindenfele az úton. Egyszer Ausztriában érzem magam, aztán Skócia köszön vissza a tájról. Nem adja vissza egyik képünk se, azt a csodás élményt, hogy körülölelnek ezek a csipkés hegycsúcsok. Ezt látni kell, tényleg.
Fura, hogy nem tudok egy helyet megnevezni, hogy na ez igen, ez különleges volt, mert minden, még a legrövidebb vezetés is, gyönyörű! Kiváncsi vagyok, mit ad majd az Északi sziget. Én ott már jártam 2009-ben és hatalmas élmény volt! Most vajon milyen lesz Phillel együtt felfedezni? Alig várom!
Addig is pár kép az útról. A Fagyöngy tónál minden mese kellék megvolt! Bolond gomba, naplemente, puha erdei ösvény, kis madárkák, akik nekem illegették magukat. Az út mentén hegyek, dombok, tavak. Akik hiányolják a virág fényképeket (van olyan rajtam kívül?), be kell látnom, bár nem érződik, de ősz van.
Lumsden-nél voltunk Európától a legtávolabb délen... Most már csak közelebb jövünk!
We are here on the South Island already for a fortnight. This is the 12th biggest island in the world, it is 840 km long. The whole area of New Zealand is less a bit as the British Islands, but here only 4.5 million people staying, not 65 million. The density of the population is 7.4/km², while on the north is 17.9. It is a big wow, that 98% of the energy is made by hydro power stations.
There are hills everywhere on our way. Once I feel myself in Austria, than I recognise Scotland in it. None of our picture is giving back this amazing experience, that we are surrounded by these sharp hilltops. You have to come and see it.
It is a strange feeling that I cannot say any exact place, oh yes this was special somehow, because even our shortest drive is extremely beautiful. I am so curious what our impressions will be on the North Island. I was there in 2009 and I remember it was a great experience. How it will be to explore it now with Phill? I can't wait!
And finally some picture from our way. At the Lake Mistletoe we had all the necessary details for a fairy tale. Red mushroom, sunset, soft path through the forest, small birds, who were dancing in front of me. Next to the roads mountains, hills, lakes. Those who are missing my pictures from flowers (is there anyone, or just me?), I have to admit, it is autumn, even we cannot really feel it.
At Lumsden we were the furthest from Europe on the South. We’ll just be getting closer to Europe again from here!
