Viszlát Déli sziget - Ciao South Island

Utolsó kirándulásunkat tettük a szigeten. Arrowtown az úti könyvünk szerint egy hollywoodi díszlethez hasonlítható. A hegyek gyűrűjében fekszik ez a bájos kisváros, ahol még a telefonfülke is sikkes. Amúgy ez is aranylelőhely volt, még ma is találhatsz a folyóban.
Queenstown egy Z formájú tó mellett fekszik, ami közel 400m mély. Talán ez adja a különös kék színét. A part mentén, több Gyűrűk ura forgatási helyszín található. Glenlorchy az egyik leglenyűgözőbb. Ahogy a havas hegycsúcsok kibukkannak a semmiből, az olyan, mint egy régóta áhított ajándék a Karácsonyfa alatt.

This was our last excursion on the South Island. Arrowtown, as our guide book said, looks like a Hollywood filmset. This little town is sitting in the ring of the mountains, where even the phone boxes have a style. It was a gold rush town, where you can still find some nuggets in the river.
Queenstown is lying next to a Z-shaped lake, which is around 400m deep. Maybe that gives this special blue colour. Around the shore there are plenty of Lord of the Rings locations can be found. Glenlorchy is one of the most famous. As the snowy mountains tops are appearing from the nowhere, is like a long time wished gift appearance under the Christmas tree.
