Prológus - Prologue

Elindultunk otthonról. Ez egy olyan érdekes fogalom, hogy otthon, mert én alapvetően Budapesten mindig otthon vagyok, még akkor is, ha nem ott élünk.
Szóval elindultunk, de nem hittem volna, hogy ilyen nehéz út áll majd előttünk. Az elmúlt napokban három fő terület köré csoportosult a tevékenységünk:
1. Vegyünk egy autót.
2. Találjunk egy házat.
3. Legyen munkánk.
Ebből örömmel jelentem, az első ki van pipálva. Van egy autónk, egy bohókás darab, amivel azt hiszem, a legnagyobb európai kalandtúránkra készülünk, áthajtunk a kontinensre, hogy Budapesten valamennyi holmimat felszedjük és visszajöjjünk vele. De ez az út már rég óta nem csak erről szól, hanem arról is, hogy barátokat látogassunk. Az egész 2 hét alatt fog lefutni. Fogok Bonnban táncolni, Phill meg a környéken thaiföldi ismerőssel búvárkodni. Találkozunk barátnőkkel Darmstadtban. Budapesten pakolunk. Siófokon táncolunk és Phill zenél is, visszafele jövet Darmstadtban tanítok és Rotterdamból kompozunk vissza.
Vissza a ködös Skóciába... ilyet én még soha nem láttam! A köd a tenger felől jön és marad itt a szárazföld felett. Aztán egyik pillanatról a másikra ragyogó napsütés van!
Nagyon nem könnyű a lakás vadászat. Olyan sok mindenről már nem is álmodozunk, csak szeretnénk egy olyan helyet, amit szerethetünk egy darabig, amíg benne élünk. Még egy utolsó házat a holnapi indulás előtt megnézünk, aztán reméljük a legjobbakat, hogy egyszer kapunk egy telefonhívást, igen a mi pályázatunk nyert.
Próbálunk nem aggódni (nem megy). Phill térdét meg kell műteni, erre 4-6 hét múlva kerül majd sor, akkor reméljük rendbe jön!
Munka, az meg reméljük lesz, amikor visszatérünk, ha már van egy otthonunk.

We left home. This is an interesting word: home, because I am always feeling myself at home in Budapest even though we are not living there.
So we left but I would have never believed that we will have such a hard trip. In the past few days we had mainly the following three big projects:
1. Buy a car.
2. Find a house to rent.
3. Get some job.
I am happy to announce that we ticked the first box, we have bought a car. It is a silly one though to make, I think, our biggest European adventure. We drive to the continent to Budapest to pick up some of my stuff and come back. But this trip is already for a long time not just about the stuff picking up. But we will go and see friends. The whole trip will be 2 weeks. I will dance in Bonn and Phill goes for diving with a friend who we met in Thailand. We meet with friends in Darmstadt. Pack my stuff in Budapest. Dance in Siófok at the Lake Balaton and Phill plays music for us. I will teach on the way back in Darmstadt and we will take the ferry from Rotterdam.
Back to the misty Scotland... I have never seen this before! The haar is coming from the sea to the land and stays there. Then one minute to the other it is sunshine again.
The house hunting is not easy at all. We have less and less thing on our wish list, the only thing is to have a place which we can love while we are living there. We will view one last house tomorrow before we start our big trip and we hope the best that once we get a phone call, yes we have selected your application.
We try not worrying too much (we do). Phill will have a knee surgery, which will be probably in 4-6 weeks time and hopefully it will fix the problems.
Job, once we return, we hope we find some... once we have a home as well.
