Budapest, jövünk! - Budapest, here we go!
Karácsony van, azaz lesz hamarosan és jövünk haza. Azt hiszem, ez a legnagyobb ajándék, amit tudunk adni másoknak és önmagunknak. Még mindig azt mondom, hogy haza megyünk, de persze ide, Skóciába, is hazajövünk majd. Pénteken munka után indulunk, Phill 27-ig én 30-ig leszek otthon.
Olyan sok minden történt velünk, hogy ha az elmúlt hetekre gondolok, akkor szinte beleszédülök. Remélem, sokatokkal találkozunk, de ha nem, akkor ezúton kívánunk Nagyon Boldog Karácsonyt és BUÉK!
Ha lehetséges, megpróbáltam összeszedni mi történt Bo'nessben illetve velünk:
1. Lassan végére ér a szerződésem, amivel a cégemhez visszavettek. Nagyon élveztem, hogy újra munkaügyön dolgozhattam és reménykedem, hogy lesz még egy kis hosszabbításom. Elviekben januárban még visszavárnak. Carlo, az egyik legkedvesebb kollégám, egyben olasztanárom, na jó, ez kicsit túlzás, de már abszolút jól nyomom a reggeli szokásos párbeszédet, jó reggelt, hogy vagy, jól, én is, mit csináltál tegnap este, ebédelünk együtt? Olyannyira jól megy, hogy a többi olasz kolléga rendszerint átvált olaszra angolról, mert meg vannak győződve, hogy értem, amit mondanak! 😊
2. Voltunk Belgiumban egy hétvégét. Nekem nagyon jól sikerült minden. Elenaval annyira jó volt találkozni és táncolni Gentben, hogy ezt muszáj lesz megismételni! És Melindával, akit még Tübingenből ismerek is találkoztunk sok-sok év után! Szegény Phill megbetegedett, úgyhogy vissza kell még jönnünk!
3. Sokat álmodozom arról, mi lenne az álom munkám. Persze Violett ebben is nagyszerű partner, főképp hogy minden valóságtól teljesen elrugaszkodott ötletemben lát fantáziát. Az egyik ilyen ötletem a piacozás volt. Teljesen belelovaltam magam és be kell valljam büszke vagyok az útra, amin végig mentem, még akkor is, ha nem lett belőle semmi. Láttam, hogy Bo'nessben lesz egy vásár, ahová lehet pályázni standra. És azt gondoltam, ezt meg kell lépnem, úgyhogy jelentkeztem rá a tánc csoport nevében. Hogy itt majd népszerűsítjük a csoportot. A hosszú történtetet rövidre vágva (engedélyek, hogy árulhassunk ételt, szabályok az ételkezelésre, bejegyeztetni magunkat, mint ételkészítők, sajnos sokkal bonyolultabbak, hogy megérte volna beszerezni), megjelentünk és többen a csoportból eljöttek támogatni minket. Volt egy dudás, akit elcsíptem az utcán, hogy pont egy dudásra lenne szükségem, de előbb meg kell hallgatnom, tud-e játszani. Rögtönöztünk egyből egy Gay Gordont az utcán, azt hiszem, már ezért is megérte az egészbe belevágni.
4. Voltak látogatóink!!! Egyszerre négy!! Aki még nem volt nálunk az nem tudja, de mi tényleg egy mini házban lakunk. A házunk szélessége 3,5 méter, de valahogy olyan otthonos. Hogy hogyan sikerült mindenkit elszállásolni, arról is lehetne regéket mesélni, de mindent megért ez a pár nap! Gábor, Szilvi és Julka partizott nálunk, illetve Ed, aki a családjával Birminghamből költözik fel az év végén Kircaldy-ba volt velünk. Nagyon jó volt!!! Minden! Robi, a tesóm, és Rebecca, a barátnője, Londonból szintúgy itt volt Skóciában pár napra, még a táncházunkba is eljöttek! Ann Bécsből szintén beugrott, csak úgy, mint Tim és Brano. Ezek a legszebb pillanatok azt hiszem az életben, mikor ennyi szeretet kerekedik körülöttünk.
5. A táncon nagyon zajlik az élet, megtanultunk két párosos táncot négy párosos szettben táncolni!!! Ezt lehet nem mindenki tudja, mennyire nagy szó, de ez nagy előre lépés. Volt Szent András napi ünnepségünk, dudással, Grand March-al, közös vacsorával, sok nevetéssel és beszélgetéssel. Tartottunk karácsonyi táncházat, Auld Lang Syne énekléssel, gyerekekkel. Még egy táncot is írtam az alkalomra a csoportnak. Minden keddet úgy várok, mint a Karácsonyt és ami a legjobb, hogy a csoport is. 💗
6. Aztán eljött a december és ezzel az adventi készülődés ideje. Sokakkal töltöttünk együtt vidám órákat, főztünk különleges ételeket, van megint listám, minden napra valami apróság, amivel készülhetek az ünnepre. Ebben is Violett a társam, akivel reggelente szoktunk üzenni egymásnak. De a legeslegjobb az volt, hogy Phill szüleinél együtt ünnepeltünk hatosban ezt a csodás időszakot.
7. Járt nálunk a Mikulás és nem csak nálunk, hanem a munkahelyemre is eljött, meg táncos barátainkhoz is. Annyira várom minden éveben ezt a napot, jó egy kicsit gyereknek lenni.
8. Ezen a héten annyi kulturális eseményen vettünk részt, hogy azt hiszem, tényleg készen állunk a Karácsonyra. Voltunk Lawson kórusának koncertjén, illetve a szomszéd város rezesbandájának nagyon jó hangulatú karácsonyi koncertjén. Timmel táncoltam Edinburghban. Voltunk egy Pantomime előadáson, amire már évek óta vártam, hogy eljutunk. Mi is ez? Vegyünk egy ismert történetet, mint például a Hamupipőke, forgassuk ki, a gonosz női karaktert egy férfi személyesíti meg, a közönség kicsik és nagyok állandó interakcióban vannak a szereplőkkel, akik énekelnek, vicceket mondanak, bohóckodnak a színpadon és a közönség soraiban. Megérteni, azt hiszem, felesleges próbálkozás a részemről, de jó volt elmenni.

It is Christmas, or with other words it will be soon and we are going home. I think, this is the biggest gift what we can offer and give for ourselves as well. I am still saying that we are going home, but of course coming back to Scotland is also coming back home. We leave after work on the 21st and Phill is coming back on the 27th and me on the 30th.
So many things happened with us in the last few weeks, it makes me dizzy if I am think about it. I hope we see each other sooner or later, but if we are not seeing each other we wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
If it is possible I tried to collect what has happened in Bo'ness and with us:
1. Slowly I am reaching the end of my contract at my company, where I have returned in October. I enjoyed it so much that I could have worked at HR and I hope there will be a bit of extension. They told me I may come back in January, so fingers crossed. Carlo, is one of my kindest colleague and my Italian teacher. Okay it is not exactly true, but now I am almost fluent in the morning usual dialogue: Good morning, how are you, fine, me as well, how was your evening, are we having lunch together? It goes that well that some of my other Italian colleagues are changing to Italian from English, because they believe I understand what they are saying. 😊
2. We spent a weekend in Belgium. For me everything was just perfect. It was great to see Elena and dance together in Ghent, we decided that we should repeat this. And we met Melinda, who I know from Tübingen and it was great to see her after many years. Poor Phill got sick unfortunately, so we need to come back another time.
3. I am dreaming a lot about, what could be my dream job. Of course Violett is a great partner in this as well, specially that she sees fantasy in all of my extravagant ideas. One of my idea was to go to a market as a seller. I was up to it 100% and I have to say I am so proud of myself that I walked on this way, even though it was not happened at the end as I imagined. I saw an advert that there will be a market in Bo'ness where you can apply for a stall. I thought this was a sign, I had to take my chance and I signed up for it in the name of our dance group. We will promote our group here - was my great idea. To cut the long story short (oh my Goodness it is so hard to get all the licences, the rules, the hygienic regulations how to handle food, sign up for a food business was so complicated, so it was not worth to get it) we went there and some of our dancer was also coming to support us. There was a piper, who I caught on the street, that I really need a piper, but he should play something for us to check if he can play nice enough. We improvised immediately a Gay Gordons , I think only for this moment was worth to take part of this market.
4. We had visitors!! Four at the same time!! Those who never been at our house, don't know that we are really living in a tiny house. The width of the house is only 3,5 meters. How we managed everything with this number, I could say a long story but it was such an amazing few days! Gábor, Szilvi and Julia from Budapest spent 5 days with us at the same time when Ed, who is moving up from Birmingham to Kircaldy with his family, was staying for a few days. Everything was just brilliant. Everything! Just after they left my brother, Robi and his girlfriend Rebecca, who were visiting Scotland for a few days, came to our Ceilidh. We saw Ann from Vienna and Tim with Brano was also here with us for a dinner. I think these are the most beautiful moments in our life, when all this love and happiness just flowing around us.
5. On the dance we have such a buzz, we learnt how to dance a two couple dance in a four couple set!!! Maybe not all of you knows how big step is this, but I am so proud of the group. We had our first social night on St Andrew's day, we had a piper and did a Grand March, had a shared dinner with lots of laugh and talk. We had a Christmas Ceilidh, sang the Auld Lang Syne, had many kids. I wrote even a dance dedicated to the group for this event. I am looking forward every Tuesday class as for Christmas and the best feeling that the group as well. 💗
6. With the December the Advent preparation time was coming. We spent happy hours with many people, cooked special meals, I have again a list which helps me to prepare day by day for Christmas. Violett is a great partner in this as well, sending festive thoughts in the mornings. But the best thing was, that at Phill's parents six of us was celebrating this wonderful time of the year.
7. Santa Clause was visiting us this year as well and not just us, but my colleagues at work and some of our lovely dancing friends. I am waiting for his coming every year on the 6th December, it is great to feel as in my childhood for a little time.
8. On this last week before Christmas we went to many cultural events, so I think we really ready for the celebration. We went to Lawson's choir's concert and to the Linlithgow Reed Band superb Christmas concert. I was dancing with Tim in Edinburgh. We went to a Pantomime, which I really wanted to go in the past few years. You must know what is this, but the recipe for that is take a well known story, like the Cinderella, turn it upside down, get the evil women character playing by a man, the audience kids and adults are continuously interacting with the actors, who are singing, telling jokes, make fun on the stage and between the rows. Understanding it, I think, was an impossible mission from my side but it was great to go.
