Milton Keynes Dayschool
Mikor visszaértünk Nagy-Britanniába a kocsink teteje már zárva maradt. Elmúlt a nyár és ősz lett hirtelen. Phill nagynénjével Jennyvel töltöttünk egy estét, találkoztunk Kirstyvel és Alexszel, Phill unokatestvérével és férjével. Másnap Johnnal, Phill nagybátyjával és lányával, Alisonnal találkoztunk röviden, hatalmas szarvasok között Seven Oaksban.
Utolsó állomása az utazásunknak Milton Keynes volt, ahol életem legelső egésznapos tanítása várt rám. Jan majdnem 3 évvel ezelőtt kért fel a berlini workshop után, hogy szerinte ez a flörtölős tánc téma tetszene a csoportjának. Nem akartam elhinni, hogy egyszer ez a nap is eljön, azt meg főleg nem, hogy pont előtte egy héttel meg gyerekeket taníthatok egy hétvégén Németországban. Ez túl szép ahhoz, hogy igaz legyen. De megtörtént, Phill játszott nekem és mindent megtettünk, hogy a csoport érezze, milyen más is a tánc, ha együtt vagy a partnereddel és a szetteddel a táncban. Ami nekem rettenetesen sokat jelentett, hogy pár közeli barátunk ott volt velünk. Lucy a legnagyobb támogatóm a táncban, és David, hogy eljött az akkora meglepetés és öröm volt, nem akartam elhinni, hogy tényleg miattam eljött. De nem csak ők, hanem jó pár táncos barátunk is csak miattunk jött el. Ez valami fantasztikus érzés volt.
Tudom, én másképp tanítok, mint a tanárok többsége. Remélem, hogy jól csinálom, mert többnyire csak abból tudom lemérni, hogy mekkora mosollyal távoznak a táncosok az események végén. Phill szerint én nagyon kritikus vagyok önmagammal kapcsolatban, de minden jól sikerült, tudom, hol tudok fejlődni és tudom ebben segítenek tanárok, barátok, a táncosok és legfőképpen Phill, aki a legjobb pár, akit valaha kívánhattam magamnak.
Once we returned to Britain our cars's roof was not coming off any more. The summer was over and it turned to autumn in one day to the other. We spent an evening with Phill's aunt, Jenny and Phill's cousin, Kirsty and her husband Alex. The next day we met briefly with John, Phill's uncle and his daughter Alison in a beautiful park in Seven Oaks where huge deer were walking along everywhere.
Our trip last stop was Milton Keynes where first time ever I hold my own dayschool. Jan almost 3 years ago asked me after my workshop in Berlin that my flirty dancing theme would be a good choice for her group. I could not have believed that this day will come once, specially that just a week before I taught the kids class in Germany for a weekend. It was too nice to be true. But it has happened, Phill played for me and we did everything to have the group feel how different the dance can be if you are with your partner and with your set in he dance. It meant for me extremely a lot, that some of our close friends were joined us on this day. Lucy is my biggest supporter in the dance and David's coming was such a great surprise and happiness, that I could not have wanted to believe that he is there because of us. It was a fantastic feeling.
I know I am teaching not like most of the teachers (must be the Hungarian way). I hope, I am doing it alright, because mainly my feedback is how big smile the dancers leaving at the end of the day. Phill says that I am so critical with myself, but everything went fine, I know where I can develop myself and I know I have helping hands from other teachers, from friends, from the dancers but the biggest help is coming from Phill, who is the best partner who I could ever have wished for myself.
