Randizunk - Date night
For the last nine weeks Phill has been at home, I joined him a week later to start working from home. Technically we were nowhere out together since our very adventurous trip to the South of the country to the Dawlish Scottish Dancing weekend, just on our regular evening walks.
I think that is why our last evening was quite special, when we sat again together in the same car to drive to the next town to Dunfermline to have our first ever take away from our favourite Italian restaurant. It felt like a real date night.
The roads as it was Sunday evening was almost empty, in the car park we saw only a few cars. Walking up on the stairs together to the restaurant, which had such a defined cloud of the mouth-watering smells, was a kind of travelling back in time.
Our bubble of course burst immediately, when we saw people in their masks and the waiting for our order made a bit unpleasant feeling (should we be here?), although they did everything to offer a safe place.
But when one of the waiter recognized us and we could have chatted a few minutes to know that they are doing fine, when we were sitting in our car again, then we were back in our dating mood. The multiple, careful hand washes could not have taken away the feeling that we were having a special dinner, in our own home, but a little bit in Italy in heart.
If you can afford it, please support your favourite restaurant!

Sounds like a fun adventure! Little things really do matter.
